![]() ![]() This wasn't even meant to tie into the name Omega, but if the Kickstarter for Final 2 was the Alpha than Final 3 would be the Omega.Īs for what I want to see that has not been shown or revealed in Final 2 or for Final 3 yet? Now they are nearing a point where they can release a "proper" and "complete" game, a true sequel, collection or experience as opposed to the true beta form of a game that is Final 2. Their inexperience with Unreal Engine could be seen on release but as time progressed most of the little issues were fixed while the new content showed off not only the experienced they gained but their vision from the start. It started off "lazy" with a Kickstarter program but launched as a full, if not basic game. Originally Final 2 was named so because the developers, "couldn't think of anything else to name it." Their goal was to create an engine/game platform to create content for, which is exactly what we have seen from the game's form at launch through the updates and DLC. Traits include an intense interest in a particular hobby, which consequently draws his time and energies away from the conventionally 'important' things in life.įor the most part, that sounds like a complete remake of the R-Type franchise with the content and unlock formula of the Final games to me, which is what I believe Final 2/3 to be. The 24th and last letter in the Greek alphabet, signifying the end as opposed to Alpha, the beginning. Other meanings include the end of a series or sequence, the last development. The word Omega comes from the Greek which defines something as long, large and extensive which also has a beginning, middle and end. Something like R-Type Omega not only sense for the game itself but fits perfectly with the franchise IMO. I also dislike the font and colors used in the logo, doesn't look like R-Type to me. I don't feel like the name does the franchise or game justice. ![]()
